Riversage advises making advance reservations at any of our Inns since frequently we are 100% occupied. All reservations must be “guaranteed” with a valid major credit card. The first night’s stay will be pre-authorized the day before arrival.

Guaranteed Reservation
You may guarantee the room for late arrival, using a valid major credit card. This means you have, in effect, purchased that room for the night. If your plans change and you made your reservation via the hotel’s website, or an Online Travel Agency (OTA), such as Expedia or Booking.com, you have until 3 p.m. on day prior to arrival to cancel without penalty. If you called the hotel directly, you may cancel up to noon on the day of arrival to cancel without penalty. You must cancel the reservation the same way you made it (i.e. the hotel website, your OTA, or calling the hotel directly).


Please note: Hotel management reserves the right to extend the minimum required cancellation time frame to cancel without penalty for certain major events. You will be notified of any applicable special events that impact the minimum required cancellation time frame upon booking your reservation.
Check-out is 11a.m. If you request additional time, we can accommodate you until 12 p.m. The point is that our housekeepers need access to clean and freshen the room for our next guest. If you stay beyond 12 p.m., you will be charged for a half-day, and if you stay beyond 2 p.m., you will be charged for a full day.

Check-in time is 3 p.m. Occasionally guests arrive prior to the 3pm check-in time. If you arrive prior to the 3pm check in time and the guest room type you requested is available, occasionally we can accommodate an early check in. There may be a small fee. If we cannot accommodate an early check-in, we are happy to store your luggage in a secure location. We also invite you to enjoy our lobby with a cup of fresh perked coffee while you wait.

The key to successfully managing any departures from normal check-in and check-out times is to communicate with the Front Desk in advance. We are here to meet your needs, but we must also be mindful of other guests who expect the same level of Riversage service that you do.

Note: (1) If your reservation is prepaid, paid by a 3rd party, or if you plan to pay with cash, a deposit will be required at time of check-in. (2) When using a debit card, please note it will be pre-authorized at check-in for room and tax for the entire length of stay. This will reflect as an actual charge on your account, and may take your bank up to 14 days to release funds back to you if, for example, you check-out early. To avoid this situation, we recommend you use a credit card if possible.
Rates are subject to change during special local events and will be verified at the time your reservation is confirmed. Be sure to call the hotel direct or book your room through our website to establish good communication and provide maximum flexibility in dealing with last minute changes.

All our rates include 2 adults. Children 12 and under stay free. Extra adults will be charged $10 each, per night.

The inn does have a limited number of roll-aways and cribs available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Cribs $10 per night. Roll-aways $10 per night.

Pet Rates – $10.00 for 1 pet, $15 for two and $20 for 3, per night.

The safety and security of our guests and staff is of utmost importance to Riversage Inns. This policy is designed for your protection.

Riversage Inns recognize that guests or visitors may legally possess firearms for a variety of legitimate purposes. This policy is intended to create a safe environment for all guests and visitors by providing appropriate guidance over the custody of firearms on our premises.

Hotel premises are private property. Guests or visitors of a Riversage Inn who LAWFULLY are permitted to possess a firearm may bring the firearm onto hotel premises for storage purposes ONLY. Any guest or visitor who is in possession of a firearm on hotel premises is personally responsible for abiding by all applicable federal, state, and local laws with respect to firearms in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located and ensuring that the firearm is:
  • – Unloaded, including the round in the chamber. No weapons cleaning on hotel premises.
  • – Secured AT ALL TIMES with a trigger lock and in a locked container supplied by the guest.
  • – Securely safeguarded at all times in a guest room (or personal vehicle) except when transporting the firearm in and out of the hotel.
  • Guests who fail to abide by this policy may be asked to leave the hotel premises. A blanket exception to the restrictions described in this policy applies only to law enforcement officers and designated military personnel, who are on duty and required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties. No exemption to this policy is allowed for private persons, even those licensed and permitted to carry a firearm and/or where applicable to conceal-carry a firearm.

Riversage Inns do not have restaurants or swimming pools. Not everyone wants, or wants to pay for, such extras. By saving construction and operation costs on these items, we are able to keep room rates at Riversage Inns to the lowest practical level.

The Great Falls Inn by Riversage does serve a Free Grab-and-Go Breakfast daily beginning at 6 a.m. until 9 a.m. M-F and till 10 a.m. weekends.

Coffee and tea is served in the lobby 24 hours per day. Every afternoon, our staff serves freshly popped popcorn in the lobby.

Depend on our staff to provide recommendations for excellent restaurants close to the hotel.
Security Enhancements

All guest rooms open to interior corridors, and we maintain staff on premises 24 hours per day. There is only one public entrance and exit, in plain view of the hotel’s Front Desk. This entrance is locked early in the evening for additional security. Your hotel keycard will provide access, and there is a phone link in the vestibule to the Front Desk for late arrivals. The hotel does have a secondary exit for emergency egress. It is alarmed, however, and not for general public use.

In addition, Riversage Inns has a policy that hotel staff must have access to every guest room no less often than every other day, even if a Do Not Disturb sign is posted by the guest. This very quick, non-intrusive inspection can take place during normal housekeeping or by arrangements made in advance with the General Manager. We have no wish to intrude on your privacy but – for the security of our guests and our hotel – we reserve the right to ensure nothing inappropriate is taking place on our property. For your own protection, The Great Falls Inn by Riversage requests that you leave no personal belongings visible in your car when parking in our lot.
We understand you may want to travel with your pet. Pet Friendly The Great Falls Inn by Riversage is “pet friendly” with very reasonable pet fees. Please call or email the hotel in advance so we we know if you are bringing a pet, and if so — how many.

We do ask that you respect the hotel’s pet policies as outlined in a handout you will receive at time of check-in, and that you are considerate to our other guests.

Some important reminders:
  • – Keep your pet leashed when entering and leaving the building.
  • Never leave your pet unattended without making arrangements at the Front Desk.
  • Respect the quiet atmosphere of the establishment.
  • Inquire at the desk about plastic bags to “scoop your poop”!

Our Pet Fee is $10.00 for 1 pet, $15 for two and $20 for 3, per night.

Due to safety and sanitary concerns during the COVID-19 outbreak, The Great Falls Inn by Riversage has suspended our free hot buffet-style breakfast for the time being. But we still want to start your day off with something tasty.
